I am doing some research and am aksing others to email me with answers to the following ????

1. Have you been able to implement new ideas, methods, or new tools into your daily routine to be a beter technician or improve your work setting after a clinic???????

2. If NO to top question, what is stopping you or holding you back from this????

I maintain that Clinics and Converntions are Great learning tools. What I am interested in is practical applicatin of the knowledge that you have had by attending these events??? I am studying what happens afterward. Please help me by sending emails to me with your experiences and ideas. Thanks again Karl in MN, Red Wing class of 98.

Karl, Two days after returning from Boston convention I used info to correct a saxophone vent problem covered in two excellent clinics. I also purchased a pair of pliers from the Canadian gentleman showing them in Boston. They are in use every day since their arrival. They are great. I have been asked to give a sharing session or two for my bench mates at work. We have had one thus far. It was well received. I have been experimenting with the soldering techniques suggested in one clinic. I have been trying the suggestions on saxes given by Shelly at her clinic. I wouldn't trade sttendance at the convention for anything.

Sincerely,
John Lauer, Repair tech at Ken Stanton Music in Marieta, Ga.
